IN MEMORY To Commemorate E. W. "Junior" Anderson
"What you do for others will live forever and what you do for yourself will die with you." We, the Electric Plant Board, City of Mayfield, by this resolution hereby wish to show our respect to Mr. E. W. "Junior" Anderson who demonstrated the spirit of caring for others spoken about by Tennyson. WHEREAS, E. W. "Junior" Anderson did serve continuously on the Electric Plant Board, City of Mayfield from June 18, 1978, until November 4, 2000; and WHEREAS, Mr. Anderson did serve as Chairman of the Electric Plant Board, City of Mayfield from July 21, 1981, until November 4, 2000; and WHEREAS, Mr. Anderson was a noted community humanitarian, having served not only this organization but also many others in Western Kentucky during his lifetime. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that we the Electric Plant Board, City of Mayfield, in order to honor Mr. E. W. "Junior" Anderson for his contributions to the Electric Plant Board, City of Mayfield, Mayfield Electric & Water Systems, and to the Mayfield-Graves County area, have written this memorial; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: that this memorial is to become a part of the Electric Plant Board, City of Mayfield record; with a copy to be displayed in the Board room and a copy forwarded to the Mayfield Messenger, this 21st day of November 2000.
