Meter Damage

All meters, service connections, and other equipment furnished by Mayfield Electric & Water Systems shall be, and remain the property of MEWS.  No person shall break, damage, destroy, uncover, deface, tamper with, or otherwise alter any structure, appurtenance, equipment, or other property which is part of MEWS. 

If a loss or damage to the property of MEWS or any accident or injury to persons or property is caused by or results from the negligence or wrongful action of the customer, member of his household, his agent or employee, the cost of the necessary repairs or replacements shall be paid by the customer to MEWS and any liability otherwise resulting shall be that of the customer.
